Aperture product
A tightly bounded entry-level review for one material question, claim, document, representation or immediate uncertainty. The product is deliberately narrow so a client can test the Aperture approach without commissioning a full investigation.
This service is one application of Aperture’s controlled evidence-assurance framework. Research is the process. Responsible reliance is the product.
Limited-scope product
The engagement defines one Central Question, a restricted source set, the research period, the Evidence Cut-off, the work not performed, material evidence gaps, the permitted use and the reliance restriction. The output states whether a fuller investigation is proportionate.
From $750
Typical range: $750 to $1,000. Usually one defined question and approximately 3 to 6 hours of focused research and review.
Not equivalent to full due diligence or a Principal Investigative Dossier. High-consequence reliance may require fuller investigation, legal review, specialist review or independent review.

Review Selected Work and clearly labelled examples, then consider how a comparable evidence-assurance assignment could be scoped for your decision.
A limited early-stage test of one claim, one document or a small source set. It is most useful where the question can be defined, the intended user is known and the available evidence can be assessed within a proportionate scope.
3 to 6 pages, core findings, source list, limitations and next questions.
$650 to $1,250
Final pricing depends on scope, evidence volume, jurisdiction, urgency, intended use and specialist requirements.
The output does not guarantee an outcome, replace regulated professional advice, create legal privilege, certify compliance or transfer decision responsibility from the client. Any work requiring licensed, regulated or specialist capability must be separately scoped or escalated.
What the work involves
The work may include defining the research question, locating and inspecting relevant sources, testing material claims, recording contradictions and limitations, assessing evidential strength and preparing a technology-assisted deliverable that is human-evaluated, human-accountable and human-approved.
Client outcome
Aperture is not adding research for its own sake. The work is scoped around the decision you need to make and the evidence that could materially change it.
Separate verified facts and supported findings from claims, repetition, inference and assumption.
Keep contradictions, missing evidence, alternative explanations and specialist dependencies visible before reliance.
Understand what the evidence supports now, what it does not support and whether further work is proportionate.
