Research Retainers
A retainer makes sense when your organisation repeatedly encounters defined evidence questions and needs access to the capability without rescoping the relationship from zero each time.
Purpose
Retainers provide agreed monthly capacity, response expectations and written boundaries. Unused hours do not roll over indefinitely, and each task remains subject to fit and scope.
Monitoring limits
Frequency and escalation are agreed in advance.
Monitoring frequency, response thresholds and reporting intervals are defined in writing. Unless expressly agreed, monitoring is periodic and is not continuous, real-time or staffed twenty-four hours a day.
Urgent review remains subject to the written scope, current capacity and availability.
